Process

From idea to shelf is more than seven phases on paper. But it helps to see what is actually involved. Each project is different, but most run through some version of this.

  1. 01

    Idea and development

    Whatever you have, sketches on a napkin, a rough prototype, or just a clear idea, we take it from there. CAD, construction drawings, materials, all the technical groundwork that makes the product manufacturable.

  2. 02

    Sourcing and samples

    We find the right manufacturer, usually in China but sometimes in Europe. We do not pick the first option. We check track record, financial stability and quality, and bring in samples for evaluation. Accredited testing through institutes in China when needed.

  3. 03

    Manufacturing and control

    Production goes ahead with the chosen factory. Before anything ships, we do delivery control. No nasty surprises when the container lands.

  4. 04

    Branding and packaging

    Logo, identity, consumer packaging, distributor packaging, EAN codes, manuals, packaging text in the right languages. Whatever the product needs to look ready for shelf.

  5. 05

    Logistics and import

    Door to door if needed. Shipping from China, customs, VAT registration, onward transport within the EU. No paperwork you need to fill in. No charges you need to calculate.

  6. 06

    Launch and sales

    Ecommerce on Shopify, B2C or B2B, custom builds when needed. Distributor recruitment and dealer networks if your product needs a wider channel. We have done this in most European markets.

  7. 07

    Restocking

    When the product sells and you need more, we handle that too. You order from us, we top up from the factory. You never have to talk to China yourself.

Not every project goes through all seven phases. Some clients arrive with a finished product and only need help from phase 4 onwards. Others want the whole chain. We adapt to where you are and what you need.
